Our Mission
We believe that everyone can make an impact. No one is too young or too old to make a difference. Our mission is to inspire others to take action in creating a healthy environment in California... and around the world.
California Cleanup organizes trash cleanup events or "trash walks" at California beaches, parks, nature trails, urban areas, and more. We encourage others to be environmental advocates by organizing trash walks in their own communities.
California Cleanup arranges trash walks with young people throughout California. We partner with school groups, church groups, scouting organizations and other nonprofit groups.
We believe lasting change starts with small, but important actions. That's why we are committed to a feet-on-the-ground approach to conservation. Ultimately, our vision is to inspire this generation - and those who follow - to make those same small-but-important actions to care for their own local environments. At scale, these small actions amount to a cleaner, healthier world.
